Our purpose

We are a small network of businesses with the potential to make significant impacts on the green transition and nature agenda, while remaining competitive.

We work collaboratively on key projects we believe will impact the whole system in the Faroe Islands and we work individually to build strategic plans which align with scientific recommendations on climate and nature.

The network runs in in 3-year cycles.

We have five principle objectives: 

1) to build our knowledge of, and capability to respond to the challenges,

2) to advance sustainable business practice through our long-term strategic plan,

3) to collaborate for faster progress,

4) to engage with the rest of society, and

5) to ultimately inspire others in the Faroe Islands to prioritise this agenda.

Our work is focused on climate and nature. Through a collaborative approach, we aim to contribute towards UN Sustainable Development Goals 13 Climate Action, 14 Life Below Water and 15 Life on Land, with greater speed and impact than would be possible for individual companies. We believe the ripple effect of our work will also contribute towards the achievement of other UN SDGs.
